Ram Pump for Cabin

Option #1

Here's a ram pump I built for Chris and Nichole's cabin. Needs a length of 3" PVC for the air pressure chamber, some 1" poly input line, some 1/2" poly output line, a shut off valve at the end of the input line, some PVC/ABS combo cement, teflon tape, wire mesh filter on the end of the line at the spring, a little mesh hood for the relief check valve (keep the sticks out), and a storage tank at the cabin.

Option #2

I'll send you this one. The larger one is too bulky to ship and probably more than you need. All connections on the smaller one shown above are 1/2". It needs teflon tape, PVC cement, a short length of 2" PVC pipe, 1/2" poly drive and supply lines w/ connectors (hose clamps or steel push fittings), a 1/2" union w/ connector (right side), wire mesh filter at the spring, a mesh hood for the relief check valve (keep the sticks out), and a storage tank at cabin. Flow is left to right.

Parts list for 1/2" pump shown above ($33.88 at Lowes):

(2) 1/2" Threaded Ball Valves

(7) 1/2" Gray PVC 1-1/2" Nipples

(1) 1/2" Threaded PVC Union

(2) Threaded PVC Tees

(2) 1/2" Brass Swing Check Valves

(1) 2" to 1/2" PVC Bushing

(1) 2" PVC Slip Fit Coupler

(1) 2" PVC Cap
