Devin Nunes is Judd Nelson!

WASHINGTON -- The FBI announced Monday that Devin Gerald Nunes, current U.S. Representative for California's 22nd Congressional District and Chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, was formerly the as Judd Asher Nelson. Judd Nelson established a successful Hollywood career as an actor in roles as "John Bender" in The Breakfast Club (1985), "Rodimus Prime" in Transformers: The Movie (1986), and "Jack Richmond" in the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan (1996-2000). Nelson reportedly left Hollywood in 2017, cut his hair, and changed his name to Nunes in order to pursue a career in politics following cancellation of filming on Iceland is Best and Stagecoach: The Texas Jack Story. Reporting by Entertainment Tonight indicate that both films were wracked by cost overruns.

It is unclear at this time how Nunes (Nelson) was involved with Russian officials during the 2016 Presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump.
